Otkritie FC Bank to launch fully automatic office in 2017

MOSCOW, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Otkritie Financial Corporation (FC) Bank plans to launch its first fully automatic office, where employees will only work as consultants, until the end of 2017, CEO Yevgeny Dankevich said on Friday at an International Financial Congress.

“This is an interesting and innovative step – offices where everything is done automatically and people only act as consultants. We are implementing the project, and we will open the first office of this type in late 2017–early 2018. We are working on the concept, choosing devices, and developing new processes and designs of the office,” he said.

Despite digitalization of the economy, clients in Russia still expect that self-service offices will have representatives of banks that will provide assistance if necessary, he said.
